2008 Make Someone Smile Week
A Success In Apache Junction and Mesa

Apache Junction, AZ (July 24, 2008) Local florists from
around the valley participated in the 2008 Make Someone Smile Week program,
the floral industry's leading charitable project sponsored by Teleflora.
Over 200 fresh floral arrangements designed in yellow “Be Happy” smiley face
mugs were delivered locally to all of the residents of Apache Junction
Health Care Center, Arbor Rose Assisted Living, Arbor Rose Hospice of the
Valley and several participants in the adult day care at Arbor Rose in Mesa.
The arrangements were hand designed by a team of florists on Sunday July 20,
using fresh flowers such as roses, lilies, carnations and daisies that were
donated by The Roy Houff Company. The “Be Happy” mugs were donated by
Teleflora. On Monday July 21, the finished arrangements were hand delivered
to the residents of the above mentioned care centers by team members from
Razzle Dazzle Flowers & Gifts located at 3061 W Apache Trail #3 in Apache
Junction. “Participating in this project is a wonderful way to bring cheer,
joy and smiles to the residents of these care centers who are yearning for
some attention and love” said Clara Naylor, the president of the Arizona
Teleflora Unit. According to Rich Salvaggio, vice president of industry
relations at Teleflora “A simple bouquet of flowers has a strong, emotional
impact on those who receive them and this program is Teleflora's way of
bringing smiles to those who need it most.”
